Food has always been something that I personally love to talk about. It is always on my mind throughout the entire day. I would say that about 90% of the conversations I have with my family are based around food. You can pretty much consider me as being what is known as a " foodie". Whether I am taking food tours in Greenwich Village, NYC meeting Heidi from the reality show that use to be on MTV "The Hills" or I am devouring cupcakes with my dad on our food tour in Nolita (North of little Italy ) in New York City. Learning about the different restaurants and the history behind how they were started on these food tours in New York inspired me to create a blog that is completely revolved around food. The picture below was our tour guide Annie who is explaining the carpaccio and arugula pizza. The pizza is made in a brick oven stove where it only takes about five to six minutes to bake. Throughout the tour in Nolita we were brought to some of the top rated restaurants that many people besides locals do not know about. Getting to meet new people on this tour was the coolest part. There was a family from Australia and they said that in Australia they call arugula "rocket" which I found fascinating.
